Independent Contractors
For clarification purposes only, Independent Contractors are not employees of Scully and are not provided with the benefits that employees receive, nor are they held to the exact same conditions. Scully does not direct their work or their individual behaviors. They are private owners of their own business and have a mutual contract/agreement with Scully as an outside vendor or sub-hauler would have in any business relationship. As such, they are rated by the level of service they provide Scully while their business provides us with outside assistance, as a resource to meet our company objectives and customer deliveries. Either party can cancel the written contract agreement for Independent Contractors/Owner Operators at any time.
